Velocette Venom or Viper original steel oil tank with light patina and comes with the fixings as you see in the images.
I say “Venom and Viper” as I thought it was suitable for a 1950’s MAC, but was corrected by someone with much greater knowledge than me. So, please decide for yourself.
No knocks and just a little paint wear. It will need a clean out just in case. However, I have shone a torch down inside and all appears to be nice and clean. This is a sound oil tank. It comes with an original cap and parts as shown.
Please see the images. They show light surface corrosion near the fixing points and the cap could do with a polish.
