Vintage AJS Side Valve SV motorcycle engine cases.
This is a decent set of original engine cases and would be great as a spare if you happen to own a 350 SV AJS from the mid-20’s.
The engine halves have matching numbers, indicating that they have remained as a pair since original build.
The engine number plate is missing. So, I don’t know what year the engine is from, or what capacity the engine would have been. However, when compared with the 350cc (1924, 1935 and 1927) engines that I have, they look very similar.
Condition of the vintage AJS Side Valve SV motorcycle engine cases
Good used condition. I don’t see any cracks or nasty chips. The underside looks fine where it is usually chipped, bumped and scraped. If you look at the top view, someone has let-in two new ali rectangles. Presumably, the previous owner was going to make a start on a rebuild.
Other vintage AJS Side Valve SV motorcycle engine cases and engines
I currently have other engines: 1927 engine, or AJS 350 SV engine for the G-dated (1926) G3/G4/G5 engine here. Or to view ALL AJS parts go here.
There are loads of pictures here. However, if you need an extra picture, just let me know.
