Vintage original Jaeger oil pressure gauge 0-60 Lbs per square inch.
Fits in some panel tanks on prewar vintage motorcycles. I just offered it up to a late 1930’s Sunbeam fuel tank and it fits.Of course, this one comes with a bracket to fit inside a panel, but it could be adapted to suit.
Old oil pressure gauges aren’t that easy to find. You see a few Smiths ones. There’s plenty of reproduction ones, but I can’t find another Jaeger one like this.
I have no idea if it was originally intended for a motorcycle. I have checked other gauges fitted to prewar motorcycles and some have similar max readings.

Condition of the vintage original Jaeger oil pressure gauge.
Well…. I haven’t tested it. So you are buying it as you see it. All I can say is that the glass, bezel and main body look fine. The needle is at zero when resting and the face is lovely for something that is a little elderly. It has that “genuine vintage look”. The threads on the back are OK too.
This vintage original Jaeger oil pressure gauge would certainly be a nice accompaniment to a nice patina motorcycle.
