NOW SOLD
Vintage Triumph Model P motorcycle engine barrel and head, around mid 1920’s.
International Shipping available
The head / barrel fins are in good condition with a few little nicks as indicated in the images. It’s being sold for refurbishment. As you can see, a valve/ spring is missing. It will need to be freed off. The current valve spring won’t be of much use. Other parts may also be missing.
I have two Model P engines if you are looking for something more complete. Please see my other listings.
Some approximate dimensions follow as there is a possibility that this barrel might be useful on other early Triumph engines. I have shown dimensions in the images as well:
- Bore: 83.78mm
- Distance that the valve stems sit away from the surface of the barrel: 20mm (to centre of stem)
- Centre to centre distance between the head mounting bolt holes: 85mm (the image shows 84.43. Take your pick as the centres are only measured by eye)
- Exhaust outside diameter: 1 1/2″
- Exhaust inside diameter: 1 1/4″
