Here’s a great winter project for someone.
This 1959 Triumph 350cc 3TA / Twenty One project is a rolling chassis and comes with a V5 registration document and a great 3-letter, 3-number registration.(non-transferable)
Here’s what’s included:
- Frame with clear number (H11897)
- V5c registration document
- Rear frame loop, swing arm (not fitted) and shock absorbers
- Front forks with the ears / headlamp mountings
- Front and rear wheels (The wheel rims are a bit pitted). They come complete with brake plates
- Front and rear mudguards. (rear mudguard is fibreglass)
- The seat. It has a small tear on the left side
- Original steel petrol tank with cap, tank rack and expensive accordion Triumph badges
- Set of handlebars. These are the US style ones.
- A nice oil tank
- Good rear number plate mount with the stop lamp
- Ignition barrel with key
- Front headlamp
- Horn
- Battery tray
There is no engine with this project.
Really important…. You only get one frame, rear loop and swing arm. The frame that you get is the one shown without any other items fitted because that is the one with the number that matches the log book registration documents. The bike is currently loosely assembled on a donor frame to display the bike for the images.
As you can see in the images, it has a set of later “pull-back” risers fitted. If you don’t want these, and would like something closer to stock, I think I have a set that I can replace them with.
Viewing: Please come and check it over before you buy. It is at PE28, near St Ives in Cambridgeshire.
Shipping: I can possibly deliver to most UK mainland locations. Please ask.
Collection: If you don’t want it shipped, I have plenty of space. If you can’t collect for a while, it’s not a problem. However, I will need to be paid very soon after the sale. Thanks.
Payment: Good old fashioned money on collection is preferred. I can accept payment through PayPal or by bank transfer as well. ref 12/21 1500/s1500
