Sell your motorcycle or rare bike parts direct to the people who need them.
This is a new service being offered. You can now reach my worldwide audience of buyers who are waiting for the right motorcycle or part by allowing me to offer it for sale on here.
It’s a way to avoid the occasional time waster on large advertising sites. You won’t have to deal with the buyer yourself. I do that. I also pack and ship the items. If they are going outside the UK, I deal with the paperwork too.
A bit of background
I sell International property. In order to do this successfully, you need to have a good web site, very good marketing, and the ability to chat with people to discover their needs and wants. You then marry the sellers needs with a buyers needs and get a result for all concerned.
The aim of the service on here is exactly the same in principle. Over the past few months I have met so many people who have many rare parts that they want to sell but just don’t want to deal with the potential hassle that goes with it. So, they continue to hoard good items that would get someone else’s project finished.
I also find that many of the same people are in the middle of a project and need specific parts.
I simply keep a record and marry the two people’s needs.
How does it work?
Let’s talk first. Call me on 07979 500900 (or 0044 7979 500900 if you’re outside the UK). We can discuss what you have to sell and what possible audience I have for the item(s).
This won’t really work for the odd item that isn’t especially difficult to find, but things like projects, frames, forks, engines, gearboxes are of interest. There also seems to be a demand for selling motorcycles. There’s plenty of sites that offer space to sell your motorcycle, but none of them keep a mailing list of buyers to contact, other than me.
If you have items that we both consider could be offered here, we will discuss collection / delivery of the parts as I need them on site to answer buyer’s questions and to ship once sold.
We will also discuss how much you would like to receive after all costs.
Once I have the parts, I will provide you with a receipt for each item. This will list the parts, together with an agreed net value that you will accept. I will then photograph and describe them and offer a shipping service. You are free to collect your parts at any time if they don’t sell.
Each time one of your parts sells, I contact you with the result and send the agreed amount to you.
I have now sold many of my spares to people all over the world. Almost every one of those buyers has then contacted me with a list of other items that they want. In some cases, they gave me a list of motorcycles that they wanted as well.
