Vintage stirrup mounted Rotax prewar headlamp headlight Approx 8″ dia

Vintage stirrup mounted Rotax prewar headlamp headlight Approx 8″ dia

£100.00

Vintage stirrup mounted Rotax prewar car headlamp / headlight.
Approx 8″ dia and 7″ deep.
I can’t find a part number. For those of you that know your Rotax headlights, this one seems to fall between the K362 and K520 models with regard to size.
I guess it’s for a pre-war / Edwardian car really. Maybe a light car / cycle car? If you know, I’d like to know.
I’m selling it as it was part of a painful mistake. I bought a Triumph pre-unit project on description and a distant picture. This headlamp was fitted to the bike. Clearly, it has no place on a pre-unit Triumph. It’s no good to me, so it’s offered at a sensible price.
The glass is good. (not cracked). It appears to be the nice, dimpled, glass. The reflector is OK but has one area with a bit of corrosion. It will probably clean up a bit. The Rotax badge is fitted and shown in the images. The outer part of the stirrup mountings are not attached. It still has the headlight bulb fitting on the back. The shell has a few dings. I imagine a skilled person would be able to sort that out.
Offered at around half the money for one.
