Excelsior Manxman 1930’s vintage motorcycle original oil tank – Clean inside. Needs paint.
I received this original Excelsior Manxman oil tank as part of a swap. I don’t happen to own this exotic motorcycle, so it’s available.
It comes with the original cap. The cap works. Some of the plating has come off but it holds tight. The tank was stripped of paint before I got it. I have simply wiped it down with a bit of oil to prevent any further light surface corrosion. The joints and seams are good and the mount at the bottom is OK too.
It’s in very nice condition, despite the lack of paint. The threads are fine and I have shown a picture of the inside.
