Well here’s an unusual one. This flat tank was made my a very skilled engineer, who happens to have some flat tank Marston Sunbeam motorcycles. He decided to let this go as the Light Solo isn’t on his radar.
It is beautifully made and nicely detailed with the correct indent in the centre seam. No caps but all of the correct fillers are fitted, together with the tank mount holes. There are some very small blemishes as it has been stored for a few years. Also, you can see in the images, there’s a small indent on the top right near the filler. It should just pull out.
So, if you have this model and could do with a spare tank, then this is your chance! Something like this would only be available to special order.
