I believe this is a 1928 or 1929 frame for a 250cc or 350cc AJS motorcycle Side Valve model.
As I’m no early AJS expert, I’m open to being educated. I can just about make out the frame number. It was heavily powder coated so I will investigate further.
Condition: Tidy. It has been powder coated. There are a few marks on the coating. I have scraped some of it away to reveal the frame numbers. If you run your finger over the coating, it’s a little lumpy in places, suggesting that the frame wasn’t completely smooth when coated. However, that’s me being picky. It’s still a decent, solid, frame.
I have another early AJS frame. I think it’s for a 250cc or 350cc SV from around mid 1930’s. It’s listed separately on here. If you can’t find it under AJS, then please get in touch.
