1939 Triumph Single 250cc OHV 2H engine for rebuild.
I bought this as a spare incase my 250cc Triumph T70 engine had issues.I have now bought a spare T70 engine. So, this 2H motor is not needed by me now.
Condition of the 1939 Triumph Single 250cc OHV 2H engine
It is only loosely assembled and will be missing some parts. The images show what is included. There are fixings missing like cylinder head studs / nuts, push rods and tubes, together with timing cover fasteners.
The outer timing cover houses the oil pump. As you can see the timing gears are there with cams. The cylinder head appears complete with valves and valve springs. The threads on the flywheel / crank look decent.
This engine is being sold as you see it and needing a complete check-over, together with a rebuild.
Fins are generally good with a very small amount of damage to a fin on the front left of the head. No piston.
The engine number is 9.2H.170XX . The whole number is clear but I haven’t published it on here. Please ask.
