1940 WD Norton 16H SV Side Valve 500cc engine cases & crank

War Department issue engine cases with the flywheel / crankshaft.

Dated 1940 and still showing traces of War Department issue brown paint.

Norton 16H 500cc Side Valve. The engine numbers are clear and unmolested. The cases will need some work though. Corrosion has taken a hold, but they are salvageable. Please look at the images.

The flywheel / crank does not turn. The back of the timing cover has had a weld repair that will need tidying.

I currently have a 16H barrel of appropriate age that will be sold separately, but would suit this bottom end.
