1970’s Triumph BSA rear foot brake pedal cast #83-2668 T140 T120 A65.
The cast number, 83-2668, isn’t necessarily the part number. However, as the cast number is stamped on the pedal, most people refer to this number. I imagine there will be differences between models that used this part, so please check the images carefully.
Models that used this type of lever were the early 1970’s Oil-in-Frame motorcycles including the Triumph Tiger T140, Triumph Bonneville T120, BSA A65 Lightning & Thunderbolt.
Condition of the rear foot brake pedal cast #83-2668
Good. In fact when I did some research to establish a sensible price to ask, this was the nicest one by far. It has been chromed. There is a blemish on the inward-facing part of the pedal. The treads are very good and the pivot seems OK to me.
Other vintage motorcycle parts
I have a few for BSA and Triumph. They are left-overs from various motorcycles that I have owned over the years. View the BSA parts here and view the Triumph parts here.
