This is a lovely motorcycle rear rack tool box. The leather parts are better than the ones that I’m used to seeing. The leather on this one will polish up very nicely.
It is stamped with a crown above “AM”. (Maybe Army Military? I’m no WD expert). I’d suggest that the tool box might be earlier than 1941 but was stamped later. As far as I am aware, the military issued motorcycles with tin tool boxes in 1939-1945. If you know for sure, please let me know. Every day is a school day for me. It also has a couple of initials lightly inscribed on the leather front. Perhaps a previous owner?
The steel casing is in decent condition. The clasp is still well attached and it all works as it should. Even the carrying handle is OK.

Collection: If you don’t want it shipped, I have plenty of space. If you can’t collect for a while, it’s not a problem. However, I will need to be paid very soon after the sale. Thanks.
Payment: This site has a facility to pay online. Good old fashioned money on collection is preferred. I can accept payment through PayPal or by bank transfer as well.
Import Taxes: Please note that IMPORT DUTIES are not something I can control. If you are buying from outside the UK, there is a chance that you will have to pay import taxes. Import taxes vary from country to country. If there are charges to pay, it is the buyer’s responsibility to research the cost and pay the duties. The price that you see on my advert is for the item and not the item plus whatever taxes might be due.
