Pair of Genuine vintage Lycetts rider and pillion sprung seats or saddles.
I have had these for many years and have been keeping them for just the right patina project. I’ve switched to 1930’s Triumphs now, so these are available.
I am selling them as a pair as they match nicely. They have a similar amount of wear and both original saddle badges say “Lycetts” as opposed to Lycette or Lycett.
If you don’t like the price, well I’m OK with that. I like these just as ornaments. Finding one of these with just the amount of wear, without being worn out, is difficult. Finding a similar pair is even more difficult.
Condition:
Generally sound. Of course, they have wear as you see in the images and the frames don’t look like new. But they are sound and usable.
The rider’s saddle has been stitched up a long time ago and one of the front springs has broken, The pillion saddle has just a bit of fraying on the rear-top.
