Re-sleeved STD Bore Pre-Unit Triumph T100 / 5T / Trophy E2958 Close Fin ali Barrels 500cc Twin
This set of barrels is for the sought-after big bearing close fin ali Triumph Twin.
- The cast number is E2958.
- Sleeved with the later type 4mm spigot.
I have been holding onto this Pre-Unit Triumph T100 / 5T / Trophy E2958 Close Fin ali set of barrels for a few years as I wanted a set of cylinder head and barrels that are as close to perfect as I could find. These were paired with a nice cylinder head with no fin repairs. The head will now be available separately.
I know the price is higher than most. However, consider this. The barrels DO NOT have fin repairs, missing fins, cracks or thread issues. The barrels have been sorted. Any fixing hole that is slightly out of true has a small sleeve. All 8 threads for the cylinder head have been done. (See images). This has been re-sleeved with STD bore. It is fitted with the push rod blocks. It will need cleaning a little in the bore as I have had it a long time. It’s not perfect. It’s just very good.
I paid a small fortune for it and I am just looking to get my money back.
