Rudge vintage motorcycle 4-valve OHV 350cc 1924 cylinder head with rocker arms.
This cylinder head will need to be refurbished but the rocker arms move and the fins are decent.
I had a 1924 4-valve 500cc engine a while back and this cylinder head is very similar. I am advised that the 4-valve models were introduced into the Rudge range in January 1924 and production ran for only 6 months. The 499cc version came into production towards the end of April 1924. I believe that this is the 350cc head as it has 2 channels in the fins for the pushrods. Apparently, the 500 had one.
Condition: It’s grubby and the facing will need some cleaning up. The valves and springs are stuck firm and the springs are corroded. However, it has the makings of a decent cylinder head. As mentioned, the rocker arms move freely and most of the fins are intact. There are 2 small fin chips and they are shown in the images.
