Triumph Pre Unit motorcycle oil tank suit 1954-1959 5T 6T TR5 T100 T110.
It started out as a 1960 Triumph TR6 / T120 pre unit oil tank. (F4702), but it has been well adapted to suit the earlier models and the top mounts are npw similar to F3856.
The biggest difference between the 1960 oil tank and the earlier ones is the position of the oil filler cap. The 1960 version had the cap on top. The earlier ones had the cap coming out at an angle.
The 1960 version had a frothing tower. The tower has been removed and covered over on this tank. So, you can either change it back and fit to the 1960 Triumph TR6 / T110 or use it for the earlier bikes.
Condition: Overall, it’s very good. Oily inside and with no nasty dings. It comes with the cap as you see it.
