Velocette MAC 350 RIGID Frame for sale.
It’s a War Dept stamped frame. The number prefix is “MDD” and the number range is correct for 1940 to 1941. The frame doesn’t have the pillion foot peg mounts and the rider foot peg mounts are of the earlier type. All leading to confirm that this is indeed a War Issued Velocette MAC frame. The frame has a number stamped: 11868.
It will need a blast and re-coat and will be a lovely frame for your project. I have gently cleaned some of the surfaces back to show that this is a solid frame.
Underneath the surface corrosion, this is a nice, solid, frame with no weld repairs and it seems to have the lugs in all the right places.
Rigid frames for Velocette MACs are not so easy to find. Here’s your chance.
Rigid MAC’s ran from around 1934 to 1952.
I happen to have an appropriate engine for this frame. Also, a gearbox and various other MAC parts. Please ask.
