Vintage Norton ES2 petrol tank – gas fuel tank for 1940’s – 1950’s Classic Norton motorcycle.
Classic and vintage motorcycle petrol tanks are available from countries such as India, at usually lower prices than those available in the UK.
I am not certain that this is an original vintage Norton ES2 petrol tank. It seems too good around the seams, and inside, to be an old tank. From the look of the outside, it has sat in someone’s garage for quite a while.
Anyway, I am selling it as you see it. It’s much cheaper than importing one. They offer free postage, but you still have to pay 20% VAT and more with customs duty.

Condition of the Norton ES2 petrol tank
Inside it’s great.
Externally, the front chromed area has suffered from poor storage. It’s the same along the top on one side.
Underneath, the tank is fine and the mounts are OK.
There are no big dings, although there is a scratch on the right side and some on the top.
Overall, this is a usable Norton ES2 petrol tank.
