Yamaha 225cc Serow Trail / Commuter / green lane motorbike with V5 in my name.
This handy little “green laner” is a used, running and riding, machine. It’s no show pony. Although, it could be turned into one. I have made no effort to make it into a restored machine as I like using it in the lanes.
The Yamaha 225cc Serow was never officially imported into the UK. However, it seems that I am not the only one to realise just how much fun these reliable 4-stroke trail bikes are. There seems to be quite a lot in the UK.
I have owned it for around 3 years. It has done a total of 26,258 miles. It is declared as a 1995 model, but 1st registered in the UK Oct 2002.
This is the 4JG model. It has the rear disc brake. The frame number is in the images and matches the engine number. Those numbers are the same on the log book.
It starts readily and has electric start. It rides through all gears well and stops well. What else do you need? Number plate? Yup, you will need to get a new one. I lost the old one.
I’m moving and will need space, so this fun trail / commuter bike needs to go. That’s why I have priced it so cheap. Oh, and it could do with a front tyre. It’s showing its age.

Collection: If you don’t want to collect immediately, I have plenty of space. If you can’t collect for a while, it’s not a problem. However, I will need to be paid very soon after the sale. Thanks.
