I have this 1935 Val Page Triumph 250cc L 2/1 project that needs parts.
If you have anything that you believe is suitable, I’d like to hear from you.
The plan is to resurrect this bike to running condition without losing any of the character. This will be difficult when it comes to the wheels as I don’t fancy riding it with some dodgy old spokes. The wheels will need to be rebuilt to look old and well cared for.
This Triumph L 2/1 has almost everything original. It even has the handlebar control levers attached to the original cables.
I will need:
Handlebars. Part #98-046
Front wheel complete or
- Front hub
- Front brake drum
- Front brake plate and associated parts and levers
Rear wheel complete or
- Rear hub
- Rear brake drum
- Rear brake plate.
A petrol filler cap without hinge: Old part #A1407S Revised #NF565A. Shown in illustration #13.
Fortunately, I have a few spares that have been kept back for my Triumph T70 which was the bike that followed this one.
First job is to give it a clean.
