Comparing Original Triumph Tiger Cub T20, Terrier T15, petrol tanks including Trials, Sports, Humped versions

Well this was an interesting exercise.

As I happen to have three different fuel tanks for the Triumph T20 Tiger Cub, I thought I would just show some images of them together for comparison.

The dark maroon tank is the early so-called “Trials” tank. It’s much slimmer than the others and has a similar profile to the silver / blue “Sports” tank. The underside of the Sports tank is similar to the “Humped” tank which was the final tank for the Cubs. The later T20B, or Bantam Cub, used a BSA Bantam fuel tank.
