Triumph Pre Unit Rigid Frame gearbox.
1939 – 1953 (I think). Please have a good look at the images. I’m not aware that they changed during those years. The gearbox has a number that starts with TE and the outer casing has T411, which indicates years 1938 to 49.
The box has the selector indicator, but the outer case has a large crack in it. The outer cases are available online. The threads need a clean but they are OK and there are no obvious cracks in the usual places.
The usual damage has NOT occurred to the clutch adjuster loop on the inner case. So, it would seem that this NOS 650 / 500cc rigid gearbox just needs an outer cover. You even get some of the forward mounts with the adjuster mechanism.
Being sold as a gearbox needing rebuild as I haven’t touched it. Turns fine.
