WANTED
On behalf of a new acquaintance, I’m searching for a frame, or just the rear section, for a middle weight AJS from the late 1920’s to early ’30s. He says the model is a 1929 M8, 500cc.
I know they are rare as rocking horse manure, but it’s worth a try.
He’s had it kicking about for over 30 years and has now got the motivation to restore it. Someone made the common conversion to a plunger rear and he’d like to restore it correctly. It would be nice to help out.
So, if you know of a frame that might be useful, please let me know and I will pass the message on.
Thanks
