1938 Sunbeam vintage motorcycle petrol tank Poss Sunbeam LION

I’m not sure which model. It’s probably for a Sunbeam LION. I’ve had it so long that I’ve forgotten where I bought it. Someone else wrote “1938 Sunbeam” on the top, so I’m going with that until I get educated on here.

The little “indent” at the front on the left side of the neck is similar to other Sunbeam motorcycles that I have.

It’s always a school day, so please tell me if you know if you believe it’s for another Sunbeam model. .

As you can see, it has light corrosion. It’s basically solid though. The dents have been pointed out in the images. There may be others, but I’ve indicated the larger ones. I know it looks a bit rough but many of the dents can be removed by a person with suitable skills and the tank can be cleaned out with a chemical cleaner.

I’ve sold my 1930 Model 9 Twin Port and have decided to let go of a lot of spares that I have accumulated over the years as I am now only keeping one smaller Sunbeam. Please take a look at the other items for sale.
