NOW SOLD. Off to France
Here is another of my pre-unit engines that was bought for spares / a project.
This one has the number stamp 5T 62159, making it a 1955 engine.
Both cases have matching numbers.
It is being sold just as you see it. It will need a complete rebuild but you are starting with the big bearing version.
The stand is not included in the sale.
The engine has pistons. However, the engine stood a long time and wasn’t stored well. Consequently, the pistons are stuck in the barrels. I’ve been as gentle as possible by soaking the tops with WD40. No movement yet. There is a chipped fin on the barrel, primary side.
There are no rocker covers or rockers. It’s missing loads of fixing nuts and machine screws. But it’s a good engine to start a build with.

Payment: Good old fashioned money on collection is preferred. I can accept payment through PayPal or by bank transfer as well.
Import Taxes: Please note that IMPORT DUTIES are not something I can control. If you are buying from outside the UK, there is a chance that you will have to pay import taxes. Import taxes vary from country to country. If there are charges to pay, it is the buyer’s responsibility to research the cost and pay the duties.
