Looking at an old Smiths catalogue, the speedometer appears to have been supplied to the following models in 1959:
4G Ariel Square Four 997cc (Note. I don’t this this will fit the tank mount. I gather the dimension is different)
FH Huntmaster 497cc
NH Red Hunter 347cc
VH Red Hunter 497cc
Red Hunter 3 497cc
If you know otherwise, I’d love to know.
The speedometer is in decent external condition but I am selling this as a part for refurbishment. If it works OK, then you’ve had a result. The trip resets. It has marks from use. The little plastic weather strip on the outside is unfixed at one end (see the images)
