SOLD – 1961 BSA C15 engine

1961 BSA C15 250 cc , single, engine.

I’ve had this in a box for a while and I’m just putting this one here to show what’s available for a chap who has a very broken one.

The engine case number is C15 22298, suggesting that it was built in 1961.

The cases don’t have any obvious damage. It’s worth noting that they appear to have been used as you see them, despite the halves not having matching stamps on the underside.

The engine can be shipped with / without the cylinder head.

It’s grubby and will need a good clean.

Excluding the head, this is what’s included:

• Crank cases
• Part of a distributor
• Oil pump and drive
• Crank
• Connecting rod
• Cylinder barrel (with a chipped fin at the top.)
• Gears and selector
• Timing gears
• Inner / outer cover on timing side
• Outer cover on the primary side.
