SOLD Going to Germany
I believe that the 5 Prefix Velocette gearboxes are from just pre-war. The number on this gearbox is 5-4720. I understand it may suit the MOV, MSS, KSS and MAC. But, please do your own research.
There’s plenty of info on the prefix 11,12 and 14 gearboxes, but not a lot on the 5 prefix ones.
Every day is a school day for me, so if you know more, or know better, please get in touch.
This gearbox hasn’t been tested by me. So all I can say is that it turns freely and clicks in and out of gears. Please look at the drive side of the casing. There is part of a flange missing. I don’t think it’s important but if you know these boxes, you will know how to fix that.
