BOBJON Veteran Vintage Car or Motorcycle large Carbide Acetylene headlamp Model #275
5.5″ glass diameter.
I am selling a collection of acetylene / carbide motorcycle lamps.
I am not convinced that Bobjon ever supplied accessory acetylene lamps for flat tank motorcycles. I think they supplied them for cars, such as the Lea Francis, in the 1920’s. However, this lamp would still look great at the front of a vintage or veteran flat tank motorcycle. It’s larger than come, but not huge. It has the pair of side mounts either side of the headlight, so it wouldn’t look out of place.
Someone has part-restored it. It would be fine as a display item. The glass might actually be plastic.
I have a few vintage /antique motorcycle headlights that work with acetylene gas created from carbide generators. I also have some generators and tail lights. Please see my other listings. They are mostly Miller, Lucas King of the Road and P & H. However, I have some unusual ones too.
