A set of Close Fin Ali barrels & Tappet blocks for pre-unit Triumph T100 500cc motorcycle. Part E2958.
Close Fin ali barrels for 500 cc pre-unit Triumph engines are not easy to find in good condition. This particular set needs work.
PLEASE NOTE: There are two spigot heights for E2958 barrels. (2mm or 4mm). This set of barrels is 4mm. Please make sure that your cylinder head also has the 4mm recess.
- It includes the pair of tappet blocks.
- Bore is 63mm (Standard). However, these barrels will need a re-bore or a good hone at the least. They have been badly stored and the liners are rusty on the surface.
- Two chips to fins on the top. Relatively easy to repair
- Someone has also re-shaped some of the fins. It’s stylish but not original.
I’m asking a reasonable price for these.
If you’d prefer a set of barrels with better fins, please look at my other items. I have some that need new liners. The liners can be bought new for £50 and will give you a Standard 63mm set of barrels.
The liners that you need are OEM:
- 70-3592.
- Hepolite.
- Bore 2.4803″. (63mm)
