1910’s-1920’s King of the Road Motorcycle carbide acetylene headlamp with mounting brackets.
It would suit a patina machine as it is. I’m sure that the dinks could be pressed out though if you want to restore it.
There is no Lucas model number on the back. It is probably in the 400 Model range. (It’s bigger than the 300 models that I have)
The approximate dimensions are:
- Overall body diameter: 5″
- Glass area diameter: 4-3/4″
- Diameter of rim: 6″
- Total height: 6-1/2″
It has a few dents as shown in the pics. Most of them are on the rim. There is no glass, but this can be obtained. The real value is in the V-shaped headlight mounting.
I have a few Lucas King of the Road rear lamps for sale and one or two carbide burners. Please see my other items.
