Magneti Marelli Magneto Tipo BL with spark 1930-1940’s Moto Guzzi Airone 250, Gilera, Bianchi, Morini etc
This Italian Magneto is likely for the 1940’s and would probably suit models like the 250cc Moto Guzzi Airone. I imagine it suited many prewar Italian single cylinder motorcycles.
The BL Type seems to be a fairly standard model.
IT SPARKS. It turns freely and smoothly. The threads are good underneath for the mounts.
- It’s a nice little magneto, even though it gave me a little shock when testing.
- The serial number is 1062637.
- The 2 mount threads are fine and they are 40mm apart (centre to centre)
