New Imperial Blue Prince Hand Change 3-speed gearbox & Clutch 350 & 500cc
Models B10 for the Standard Blue Prince 350cc and F10 for the Deluxe version.
I imagine this gearbox will suit a 500cc Model 11B too, but you will need to decide that for yourself.
The Blue Prince was introduced towards the end of 1930 and is a stylish OHV machine. It seems that it was more popular in Europe than the UK. So, I imagine, this gearbox will probably find its way over to Europe (Shipping is available).
I have not opened the box up. However, it does move as it should and it does not appear to have any obvious damage to the casing and cover.
The number on the case is 121/38960/10F, suggesting this gearbox is off a New Imperial Deluxe Blue Prince. The gearbox is marked with the suggestion that it’s a 1931 gearbox. I imagine it will work perfectly well with the earlier 1930 machines.
This is a great opportunity to move your New Imperial project on one more step, or simply buy a spare for your Blue Prince. They don’t come up very often.
