I’ve had this Original hand oil pump in my spares box for a long time. It is a Best and Lloyd pump made under licence. The pump handle has “ESS” inscribed, rather than Best and Lloyd.
This one has the pre-1922 calibration disc.
Anyone with a flat tank vintage or veteran motorcycle will appreciate that having a spare is like having and insurance policy. If you have a spare, it’s likely you will never have to install it. I’ve sold my flat tank bikes, so no need for the spare oil pump.
It’s fairly complete. Please look at the images as I’ve done my best to show what is included. I didn’t take the main pump apart but it springs back very well and clips down as it should. It even still has the filter on the base of the pump.
The sight glass is missing. You will need to go through all of the parts and double-check that they work correctly as I have not used this pump.
Parts are available on the VMCC site. Talk to me about the supplier of the glass cylinders and I will pass his contact details on.
This is the more common 3-fixing mount with the fixing points equidistant. The Triumph ones are not equidistant.
