Outer cover for 5 Prefix Velocette MAC MOV MSS KSS gearbox – 1939?
I had a 5-prefix Velocette gearbox a while back. This outer cover was a spare. It’s in nice condition. Please study the images. Look at the top fixing. It’s slightly out of shape and might have been repaired. Although, if you look on the reverse side, there’s no evidence of a repair.
I believe that the 5 Prefix Velocette gearboxes are from just pre-war. I understand it may suit the MOV, MSS, KSS and MAC. But, please do your own research.
There’s plenty of info on the prefix 11,12 and 14 gearboxes, but not a lot on the 5 prefix ones.
