Pre-Unit Triumph T100 Close Fin ali cylinder head 500cc Twin for restoration. Would suit 5T and T100 engines.
This cylinder head is for the sought-after big bearing close fin ali Triumph Twin.
This is a very nice cylinder head. The fins are all good and have not been repaired. The threads are good.
It comes with the carb manifold.
There are no valve guides, but the valve seats are nice. There is a small amount of pitting in the combustion chambers (shown in pics). I cannot see any cracks in the usual places.
The cast number is E2679. I believe the part number is 70-3005 but please check for yourself.
I have been holding onto this Pre-Unit Triumph T100 / 5T / Trophy E2679 Close Fin ali cylinder head for a few years as I wanted a head that as close to perfect as I could find. This was paired with a nice set of re-sleeved STD bore. close fin ali barrels. They will be available separately.
