Nickel plated, refurbished, original Best & Lloyd hand oil pump Veteran Flat tank Motorcycles.
This refurbishment is so good that I thought it might be one of those new ones that are readily available. However, on close inspection, there are small marks around areas like the fixing holes that suggest that this is an original pump. It has been rebuilt and the spring pressure on the plunger is excellent. In fact, it’s all good. It’s ready to use.
Anyone with a flat tank vintage or veteran motorcycle will appreciate that having a spare is like having and insurance policy. If you have a spare, it’s likely you will never have to install it. I’ve sold my flat tank bikes, so no need for the spare oil pump.
This is the more common 3-fixing mount. It’s not correct for 1913 / 1914 Triumph’s where the fixing holes are out of alignment. It’s more conventional than that and likely useful for a lot of veteran, or vintage, flat tank motorbikes.
