1936 AJS 250 350 SV motorcycle Rigid frame Clear frame number – SOLD

I believe this is a 1936 frame for a 250cc or 350cc Side Valve model. It may be earlier.

As I’m no early AJS expert, I’m open to being educated. The frame number is 4-digits. The first three numbers are 198.

Condition: As you can see, it’s a bit rough. It is solid though and should clean up well. There’s bound to be a bit of pitting show through painting or coating unless you lay it on very thick.

I have another early AJS frame. I think it’s for a 250cc or 350cc SV from around 1928/1929. It’s listed separately on here. If you can’t find it under AJS, then please get in touch.
