This speedo is one of many that I had stored away from my T20 Triumph Tiger Cub days. It turns out that it’s not for a Triumph Tiger Cub. It’s for a Triumph T10 Tina scooter along with the Ariel Pixie and the BSA K1 Beagle.
The important number on the face is “1400” as that tells us the turns per mile and is specific to certain motorcycles.
All I can say is that the needle turns. It appears to be in good condition. However, it will need a clean behind the glass. The casing is decent and it comes with the clamp.
I currently have a similar speedometer but the odometer has been re-set to zero.
It’s not the price of a restored one. So, if it all works correctly when fitted, you’ve had a result.
