Triumph pre unit Trophy TR6 TR5, 6t Thunderbird, T100 and T110 Bolt up rear hub assy, 1955-62.
THIS IS NOT A REPRODUCTION ITEM. According to my 1956 parts book, W951 is a 46T sprocket and drum. The number W951 is cast into the back of the drum.
I bought this off a friend who also sold me a rebuilt, fancy, sprint TR6 650cc pre unit engine. (The engine, slickshift gearbox and performance clutch are also for sale). Having kept these parts for a few years, I have had a change of plan. I have now sold the swing arm frame and a load of the parts are going as well.
It’s just sat around and has never been fitted. The drum has some sort of colour on it. Not my choice but it can easily be painted. It has a little surface corrosion, but it’s very light. The hub has a matt crackle finish to it. The front of the brake plate is a little marked under the flashy chrome finish.
It comes with the brake arm and spring as shown.
If you have a standard TR5 / TR6 Trophy, or a Triumph 5T / T100, T110 / 6T Thunderbird, then I’m sure this bolt up rear hub assembly will be fine.
