1969-74 Triumph T100 Crank Unit construction 500cc Flywheel

- Timing side main bearing journal diameter 35mm
- Drive side main bearing journal diameter 30mm
A word of caution. The label states that this is for machines between 1969-74. If you research the centre crank number (E3712 / 70-3712) that number relates to machines between 1958 and 1964. I believe that the main centre crank number (E3712) was fairly common through the 1960’s and into the 1970’S. The dimension of the main bearing journals and he length of the drive-side shaft altered.
If you know of other dimension differences, shoot me a message and I will take the measurement to see if it suits your needs.
The label also states as a new item. However, I don’t know the history, so I cannot verify this. It came to me with the label attached.
Would suit a Triumph Daytona build but will work for other T100’s.
As I’ve decided to build only one more T100 project, I’m selling off most of my Triumph T100 surplus spares. This crank is one of a few that are becoming available. There are currently engine cases, connecting rods, pistons, barrels and cylinder heads, frames, oil tanks and more. Please ask.
Condition of the T100 crank
The crank is nice and clean and has been stored carefully. I have shown images of the threads at each end, with the protective caps removed. The threads are good. I have also removed the tape over the journals just to show condition.
