Up to 1924 Marston Sunbeam flat tank outer engine timing cover

£78.00

Up to 1924 Marston Sunbeam flat tank outer engine timing cover.

  • Cast number inside the timing cover is 203.
  • Total length: 9″
  • Distance between the fixing holes (centres) is 3.5″ or 88mm.

I am not sure which model this cover is for. I think Sunbeam supplied motorcycles with an external oil pump sometime near the end of 1924. That’s just an observation, rather than a statement of fact. I’m sure there are plenty of Sunbeam aficionados out there in Sunbeamland who will know for certain.

All I can say that it might suit the Light Solo, Models 1,3, 4, 7 or the 2-3/4hp Model 2. Please use the dimensions provided as you guide. If it’s convenient, you are always welcome to bring your engine cases to make sure that this fits before you buy.

Condition: Decent. Considering this is around 100 years old and has been used, this Marston Sunbeam flat tank outer engine timing cover is in nice condition. It’s clean. The casings are decent and haven’t suffered from corrosion. The external appearance is nice with some small areas where it’s slightly darker. I’d happily fit it, but I don’t have any pre-1930’s Sunbeams now.

I am selling a load of small parts for pre-1935 Marston Sunbeams. The parts will all be listed on here.

The price that you see on my advert is for the item and not the item plus whatever taxes might be due.
