Velocette 500cc single OMEGA piston with piston rings.
The box states STD in pencil, but my Vernier gauge suggests 86.5mm rather than the STD 86mm.
Apart from the Omega stamp inside, there is only one other stamp “4 0″on the top. I imagine this means that it’s a Plus 0.040 piston.
Condition of the Velocette 500cc single OMEGA piston:
Evidence of very slight use. It has the piston rings fitted and they move just as they should.
There is no pin with it. It has been used and I have done my best to show the wear to the piston. .
I suppose it would be a nice spare to have. It’s cheap enough.
