Veteran Vintage flat tank motorcycle MILLER acetylene carbide rear tail lamp.
I am selling a collection of acetylene / carbide motorcycle lamps. This Miller rear light is one of a few that include the usual makers: P & H, Lucas etc.
This particular Miller rear acetylene lamp is larger than ones that I have owned before. The red lens is about 45mm or 1-3/4″ in diameter. The height is around 12.5cm. Please don’t mistake it for the smaller versions.
It’s a nice original lamp and has the mounting attached as shown. The lens cover hinge and clasp work well. The red rear lens and the clear side lens are fine. It would suit a patina motorcycle as it has marks to the nickel plate and paint. If you would like one that is shiny, I currently have one for sale (at the time of writing this). As you face the rear red lens, there is a very small ding in the rim on the right side at about 3 o’clock.
