1947 Triumph T100 500cc Twin Pre Unit engine cases with Tiger 100 timing cover. They might also suit a 5T, Speed Twin.
For their age, these cases are in decent condition. There are marks from general use, but the cases are free from obvious damage. Bear in mind that these matching engine cases were produced just two years after WW2.
The engine number is unmolested and reads, 47 T100 83114
The timing cover comes with the cases. It’s a decent cover with an original Tiger 100 badge. So, if you’re after originality, this is a little token.
To verify the age, the cast number on the inside to the timing half is E2219 and the number inside the timing cover is E2218.
