1957 Triumph motorcycle Pre Unit frame for sale. 6T Thunderbird, T110, TR6 Trophy, speed Twin and probably others.
The pre unit Triumph frame is for sale as you see it. It includes the main front loop with the frame number very clear. The number was hidden under quite thick powder coat. As you can see, I had to chip away to find the number. The number is shown in the images.
The frame is in good condition. I have stored it for a potential project for many years, so it will have a few marks. However, it is stored in a heated and dry facility. I was going to have it gently blasted and re-coated.
All of the lugs are there and it looks like no-one has messed about with it.
This is one of many parts of a project that I have now decided won’t be going ahead. I think I have a suitable swing arm for this somewhere.
There are no documents with the frame. If you are unfamiliar with getting the frame registered, it’s a fairly simple process. The best thing to do is to join the Triumph motorcycle owners club and speak to a nice chap called Richard. He’s currently the Registrar. For a small fee, he will get your bike registered.
If you are considering building a pre unit Triumph project with a swing arm frame, this is a good place to start. At the moment, a have a choice of pre-unit engines (most need complete rebuilds), a very nice fuel tank that would fit this frame, a swing arm, some wheels, even mudguards, foot pegs and much more.
If you can manage it, come and see the frame then decide if you need other parts.

International shipping Import Taxes: (I need to mention this as I had someone buy something from me and they were based in Europe. They thought I should list the item including all taxes and shipping. Considering import duties vary enormously, this is impractical even if it was possible). Please note that IMPORT DUTIES are not something I can control. If you are buying from outside the UK, there is a chance that you will have to pay import taxes. Import taxes vary from country to country. If there are charges to pay, it is the buyer’s responsibility to research the cost and pay the duties. The price that you see on my advert is for the item and not the item plus whatever taxes might be due.
