Just a quick post to compare the Triumph T20 Tiger Cub motorcycle swing arms F4070 & F4600.
I’m all-out of the standard F4600 “wider” swinging arms. so I have used one that has been altered for competition use.
I get approached by quite a few people for the T20 Tiger Cub competition parts such as the later points-in-the-side timing covers, F4600 swinging arms and the mountain Cub type of folding footpegs. As they are so much in demand, I rarely have things like that for long.
People often as me what the difference is between the F4600 and the F4070 swinging arm. In a word, width.
The F4600 is wider in almost every respect. This is especially the case nearest the pivot as can be seen from the picture with F4600 on top of the F4070.
So, if you are looking to build a Trials Cub or a Scrambles Cub, it makes sense to look for the wider swing arm so that you can get your 4.0 rear tyre in.
If you need the F4070 singing arm version of the Triumph T20 Tiger Cub, let me know as I have a few. If you need the F4600, I only currently have the adapted one.
