1925 James Motorcycles Models 11, 11A, 18 350cc Side Valve gearbox and clutch.
This is posted on here so that one person in particular can view it.
I was asked if I could supply a clutch for a 1925 350cc SV James motorcycle. I didn’t have one but offered to help. I put the message out and have been fortunate that someone has looked under a pile of other parts and found what appears to be the correct gearbox and clutch.
For those that know their James gearboxes, you will notice that this particular box has 2 studs, rather than 4. The 2 studs are there as it was used on an AJS. The 4 holes are still in the gearbox mounting face.
I imagine that it will need a little work. However, it will likely get the lovely flat tank back on the road again and ready for the next Banbury Run.
